Rockhampton – Get a Fully Restored Smile.
If you are in the unfortunate position that you are missing all of your teeth or need all your teeth extracting then we can help with a whole jaw replacement. At our Rockhampton and Emerald dental clinics, we use some of the latest implant-supported dentures to fully restore your smile allowing you to eat and speak normally once again.

The Benefits of Whole Jaw Replacement Using Implant-Supported Dentures

When it comes to replacing all of a patient’s teeth, there are several options available. Dental implants, however, are seen as the gold standard treatment for replacing one, several, or all teeth.
Full mouth dentures that are held in position using dental implants offer greater comfort, more stability, and are longer lasting than conventional full dentures, allowing you to eat and smile with confidence.
In addition, because dental implants are anchored into the jawbone itself, bone tissue loss (a natural process that occurs after tooth loss is halted) is halted and the remaining bone remains both healthy and intact.
If you would like to find out more about a whole jaw replacement in Emerald or Rockhampton, then come and talk to our experienced team at A2Z Dental today.

Whole Jaw Replacement – How the Process is Carried Out

Initial consultation – Patients visiting our Rockhampton of Emerald dental clinics will first attend a consultation. We will examine your current state of dentition and look for the best options to deliver a speedy and safe whole jaw replacement. We will also take a series of X-rays using the latest cone beam technology.
Fitting connecting device – Once bone fusion has taken place (typically somewhere between 3-6 months) your connecting denture complete with new bridging teeth will be permanently fitted or clipped into position onto your new dental implants.
Placing the dental implants – Once all has been agreed and plans are signed off, you will be invited to our dental clinic where we will start the whole jaw replacement process. After any excess teeth are extracted 4-8 dental implants are strategically placed in each jaw. During this time temporary teeth can be worn, so you won’t be left with a gummy smile.
The end result is a lifelike and durable smile that functions as well as it looks.
If you are feeling miserable about your lack of teeth, then it’s good to know that you don’t have to suffer. Instead, come and talk to us about whole jaw replacement in Rockhampton or Emerald today and begin to live life with a healthy and happy smile once again.
Note: Any surgical or invasive procedure carries risks. Before proceeding, you should seek a second opinion from an appropriately qualified health practitioner.
